In 1957, a group of friends and like-minded boaters organized the Outboard Boating Club of Evansville. Now, after over 65 years, the club is still around and active and currently resides on a 9acre property down Old Henderson Road. We are people who enjoy boating, spending time with family and friends and supporting our communities. Our members come from all over the Tri-state, Evansville, Mt. Vernon, Henderson, Wadesville, Poseyville, Haubstadt, and many more. The club boasts a friendly, family atmosphere and provides children’s programs to keep members of all ages entertained. Membership is by application, and all new members are required to undergo a background check and follow our by-laws and standing rules. Monthly dues cover the upkeep of the facilities, water, sewage disposal, member-only boat ramp and dock, and parking areas.

 We have several generations of family members for a reason.  Once you’ve been an OBC member, we’re hard to forget!
